AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS, INC. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Summa Industries of Torrance, California that manufactures commercial and agricultural irrigation systems. API acquired the majority of the assets including the well-known brand name “Pepco” and the rights to the product brand “Wade Rain.” API will assume operations at Wade’s Fresno facility. WADE MICRO IRRIGATION DIVISION is a manufacturer of low-flow irrigation products for commercial and agriculture markets that includes pulsators, emitters, tubing, and bubblers. R.M. Wade will continue marketing their Ore-Max brand mining products for leach mining operations which will now be manufactured by API. ACQUISITIONS NORTHWEST, INC. acted as advisor to the shareholders of R.M. Wade Co., orchestrating the sale process of the division to potential strategic acquirers. This is the third transaction in the irrigation industry conducted by Acquisitions Northwest, the other two being the sale of Pierce Corporation in Eugene, Oregon to Fresno Valves & Castings, Inc. in Selma, California and the sale of the Wade Rain Sprinkler Irrigation Division to Travis Pattern and Foundry in Spokane, Washington.
