Acquisitions Northwest, Inc. (ANI) is one of the oldest and
most active firms in the Northwest dedicated to advising buyers and
sellers of middle-market companies. Since being founded in 1974, the
firm has compiled an impressive record of successfully consummated
projects not only in the Northwest, but nationally and internationally
as well. Typical transaction sizes are from $2 million to $50 million.
Clients have included manufacturers, distribution, and service companies
in a broad range of industries.
ANI
has a sound reputation in the business community for being trustworthy,
credible, and honest. The firm assists clients professionally and
confidentially. Despite the time commitment that may be required to
correctly orchestrate the process, ANI will always advise on what is
right for the client.
Upon
committing to a client's sell-side project, ANI will thoroughly analyze
the client's company, including its strengths and weaknesses, product
lines, markets, competitors, and the industry in general. Historical
financials will be recast to reflect maximum profitability and forecasts
will be reviewed. While preparing a powerful, comprehensive offering
memorandum, ANI will begin researching for strategic and synergistic
candidates, whether industry buyers or financial buyers. While utilizing
its own research capabilities, ANI extensively extends its worldwide
reach by utilizing IMAP associates around the globe.
ANI
will eliminate unqualified buyers and avoid bargain seekers, the goal
always being to ascertain the most appropriate buyer and to create a
proper level of competition in the bidding process.
Whether a
buy-side or sell-side assignment, ANI remains involved in every phase of
the process from the initial research, through the stages of discussions
and negotiations, to preparing letter of intents and assisting counsel
with the closing procedures. As a skillful facilitator, ANI acts as a
buffer to reduce the strain that often arises during negotiations and
provides tactical advice during each step.
